David Steele: Your Super-Powered Advocate for Williamson County

David Steele is a true working-class candidate. From receiving a life-saving kidney transplant (donated by his best friend) to holding down two jobs just to survive, he knows the importance of community and understands the modern struggle of living in Williamson County.

As a neighbor who has relied on the support of his community during his toughest times, David is now ready to give back. Drawing inspiration from the comic books he has learned so much from, he is driven to use his own story to defend those who cannot defend themselves.

The Platform

Affordability & Growth without Regret:

1

David is concerned about long-term residents and the "working class" - teachers, police officers, and families - being priced out of the county they serve. He advocates for "growth without regret," ensuring development doesn't trample the people who built this community.

Fiscal Responsibility:

2

With the county facing significant debt, David questions large-scale luxury expenditures, advocating instead for research-backed spending that reflects the actual needs of the people.

Active Listening:

3

Drawing from his medical background, David aims to be the "technician" for District 10: a commissioner who listens to the symptoms of the community and helps find the right solutions. He is committed to remaining available to constituents throughout his term.

Active Listening Starts Now

David is running to represent his community, and that means listening and learning. Is there a policy issue you think he’s missed? Send him a message and let him know.
